A Labour History walk through Belper.
Saturday 5th September. Meeting at the Market Place at 10.30am. The walk will take us through the town as far as the Hospital before returning by King Street, to finish at the Market Place , to finish at 12.30pm. The walk will look at the broad support for the Chartists among working people of different trades and the events of the 1842 General Strike.
